About Mahny Djahanguiri

Mahny Djahanguiri is the UK and Europe’s leading founder and author of DOGA -Yoga for you and your Dog .

She founded her brand Dogamahny TM in 2012 leading London based and International Dogamahny TM classes/workshops and teachers training program (alongside her furry companion “Robbe”). Her method, as seen in her Book DOGA Yoga For You and Your Dog is designed to help support dog owners and their dogs to destress through the ancient art of Yoga. Her yoga system is carefully designed to work on the central nervous system on both owner and dog alike.
Over the years she has worked with various dog rescue charities and psychologists and introduced her method to a multitude of customers who suffer stress and anxiety or finding it difficult to manage their dogs.
Doga works on the natural bond we have with nature and restores the balance between mind and body with the support and aid of dogs and yoga.

Mahny’s Story

She was born in Switzerland to a British mother and Iranian father. Since the age of seven, she spent most of her time surrounded by nature in the Swiss Alps spending as much time as possible with animals. Her love for animals lead her to write her first children’s book, “The Story of a Girl and a Mouse”, which follows a mouse with yogic superpowers.

In 2009 she visited Los Angeles for a yoga workshop. There she had a “Eureka Moment.” on Venice beach as she observed owners meditating with their dogs during a glorious sunset.  Her love for teaching yoga and her unconditional love for dogs lead her to combine the two most favorite things. She developed her own brand and teaching style throughout the past eight years and began teaching DOGA at Harrods Pet Spa in 2012.
