Doga - Yoga for You and Your Dog was founded and established by myself and my Maltese pooch Robbie. Before Doga, I was a qualified adult, teen, and kids yoga teacher . My first class in 2012 was located in the heart of Hampstead. In the same year, my little Maltese rescue dog Robbie joined me to teach the first Doga class at Harrods Pet Spa. Our appearance on Made in Chelsea in 2013 gained us a book deal with Hamlyn/Hachette, titled "Doga - Yoga for You and Your Dog". In my book DOGA I structured and reviewed translating the original eight-limb yoga practice of Patanjali into the eight-limb yoga practice of suitable for hounds and humans. Since 2012 we have travelled the world giving Doga classes.
Robbie became my rescue dog in 2012. He is the most chilled - out Maltese dog you've come across. He usually runs the show! I never trained him into a Yogi ( or Dogi) instead he just joyously sat in my arms without bating an eyelid. I was very lucky to get him because without their would be no DOGA. Simon Cowell got hold of our first book in 2015 called DOGA - Yoga For You and Your Dog published by Hamlyn. He soon invited us to audition on BGT 2017. The rest is history.
my Mission is to spread Doga across the globe for everyone to enjoy and reap its benefit
The idea of teaching yoga to dogs was something that I had always wished to merge with these children. The protection of the innocent, mean, and vulnerable is the biggest priority here, whether it is bound or human. I went on to write the book Doga, in which I broke down the eight-fold path of yoga in order to translate the ethical code of conduct in Doga.
My book was reviewed in:
Robbie and I have shared Doga with thousands of viewers, appearing on:
However, my biggest impact was when we auditioned for Britain's Got Talent in 2017. Judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, and Amanda Holden all joined in with their dogs for a spot in Doga. Today, Doga is back with a new angle, hoping to establish itself as the first pet yoga therapy.
